WeHOPE takes a holistic approach to helping the homeless. Its programs are designed to address the physical, emotional, educational needs of those served.
WeHOPE's 55-bed emergency shelter is located in East Palo Alto. It offers immediate and essential services to homeless and at-risk individuals in San Mateo County and Santa Clara County. The shelter operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year, rain or shine. The program includes three meals daily, hot showers, laundry service, comprehensive case management, life-skills classes, and job training to ensure individuals become healthy employed.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Operations hours open from 4:30 P.M. until 8:00 am, 7-days a week, 365 days a year. Priority is given to San Mateo County and Santa Clara County residents. Clients can enter at 4:30 and take a shower, wash their laundry, use the computer lab, take classes, watch television, play games, read, etc.
Dinner is served at 7 PM, and lights out is at 10:30 PM.
